Manny Pacquiao ‘The Best of 2010′ list of WBC

The 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao enters his name as one of the candidates of “The Best of 2010″ list by the World Boxing Council (WBC). Another sports magazine also put Pacquiao on their list. Manny Pacquiao’s exploits in the world of boxing was picked by Sports Illustrated as their top boxing story for 2010. According to columnist, Filipino boxing hero has penetrated the American sporting mainstream “like no Asian-born athlete in history. He’s won major sanctioning-body titles in eight different weight classes, nearly half of the sport’s 17 divisions. He was the subject of a 60 Minutes profile in November, less than 12 months after being named one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people. Pacquiao is one of the candidates for “Boxer of the Decade” award which comes with its competitors were, Oscar de la Hoya, Vitali Klitschko, Floyd Mayweather and Erik Morales. Also appointed its name to “Boxer of the Year”which were shared its world middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, and light heavyweight world champion Jean Pascal. Next year Manny Pacquiao will face another opponent, Pacquiao vs Mosley fight will held on May 7 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas Nevada for Pacquiao’s WBO Welterweight belt.
