iPad fans did you hear these news? A newer version of the iPad, have been speculating all over the internet about what to expect in this new iPad’s. Apple, of course, remains true to form and is still mum on the details. Here we present to you some of the more speculating specs about this new iPad 2. The Cameras. That’s what was missing from the original iPad. Apple plans to rectify this error by adding a rumored front and rear camera. The impetus for this change? Facetime, Apple’s application for face-to-face calling. Facetime is currently only being used on the iPhone 4, but reliable sources say it makes a lot of sense to put it on the iPad because it can utilize the tablet’s bigger screen and higher resolution. Now let’s talk about its size. Think the iPad is too bulky? Too big and heavy? Most people already think the iPad’s size is just right and convenient enough, but for those out there who are turned off by its enormous 9.7 inch screen, there’s a rumor going around that the iPad is about to get a newer, littler 7 inch cousin.
Steve Jobs’ answer? Is No. The reason, he said, was that there simply wasn’t enough screen real-estate for creating great tablet apps. While one could increase the resolution of the display to make up for some of the difference, it is meaningless unless your tablet also includes sandpaper, so that the user can sand down their fingers to around one quarter of their present size.
iPad aficionados seem to think that Apple is about to follow suit. The new iPads and the iPhone 5 will ship with two “1GHz ARM Cortex A9 cores.” If it did come true, the iPad would be faster and its ability to multitask would be greatly multiplied. Most iPad users would probably welcome an addition like a USB connector since it would mean that the iPad would function like a “normal” computer, with easy access to external files and information.
As for when it’s coming out, there’s still no word from Apple as to its official release. But trend watchers claim it could be sometime in January or in March. Well for me if this new iPad come out and I have enough money I will buy this one as well.
