Mayweather vs Cotto, both parties have agreed to undergo Olympic style drug testing – a precedent set by Mayweather himself. Mayweather will take on Cotto at 154 pounds, a step up in weight for the WBA super welterweight belt. He is coming off a 10th-round knockout win over Antonio Margarito in December 2011. Mayweather is known for his great footwork and speed as well as his unmatched boxing skills. He is highly favored to win. However, Miguel Cotto has a lot of skills, himself.

Cotto does have problems with guys that bring the fight and pressure to him, but Floyd won’t do it. Miguel eats slick boxers for breakfast. Miguel will give problems to Floyd with his shot gun jab and he will try to break him down with ribcage rattling body shots. That new trainer from Cuba gave Miguel renewed confidence in his skills and abilities, plus they will be fighting at 154 pounds with Cotto being stronger and bigger man

Cotto, 31, said he would take that added confidence into the ring against Mayweather. Although he’s the champion, Cotto is a heavy underdog, with many feeling Mayweather possesses superior speed and counter-punching ability.
